Meet Zia
CEO & Lead Trainer
Zia Hasan
Bangladeshi-Canadian ESL & Cross-Cultural Communication Coach, trainer and digital storyteller based in Edmonton, Alberta.
Zia began his communication training journey in 1996. Since then, he has trained learners, bankers, professionals, educators and leaders from diverse backgrounds.
From 2005 to 2017, he served as a Contractual English Trainer at the U.S. Embassy in Dhaka. After moving to Canada, he continued his work in ESL education, curriculum development, interpretation, career coaching and community education.
His teaching philosophy is simple: communication should be practical, respectful and useful in real life.

Ria Sabitry is an International Education & Admission Mentor who provides independent admission consulting services through Zia’s Language Centre (ZLC).
Ria completed her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at the University of New Brunswick (UNB), majoring in Accounting with a concentration in Finance.

Led by Zia Hasan, CEO and Lead Trainer, the Centre brings together language learning, communication coaching and soft-skills development. Zia is a Bangladeshi-Canadian ESL & Cross-Cultural Communication Coach with three decades of training experience. He served as a Contractual English Trainer with the U.S. Embassy Dhaka and has trained learners and professionals from diverse fields.
